Neurosmart is looking for a business operations assistant!

Neurosmart is a startup company from Stanford University developing a wearable technology that trains law enforcement and other high performers to better self-regulate under stress. Our team is made up of PhDs from Harvard and Caltech as well as Meta software engineers. Our technology is patent-pending and we have received a competitive grant award from the National Science Foundation (NSF).

We are at a pivotal point in our company’s growth where we are quickly acquiring our first customers and on the verge of securing another large grant from the NSF. You will look closely with the CEO in prioritizing and accomplishing day to day operational tasks and managing customer relations. This is an opportunity to work at an early stage startup company that is developing cutting edge technology and bringing it to market. There is real room for growth and learning a variety of skills as well as becoming a full-time member of the team.

Responsibilities:

Customer relationship management

Inventory management

Help with order fulfillment and shipping

Plus if experienced with accounting (Quickbooks) and preparing marketing materials.

Ideal candidate:

 

Experience with or willingness to learn a CRM software (hubspot, notion etc)

Proficient with excel worksheets and google sheets

Excellent communication skills

Team player with a positive attitude who is willing to hustle

Self-starter

Ability to task switch efficiently and work in a fast paced environment.

Strategic thinker who can serve as a thought partner to the team

Additional Details:

Work is hybrid (mostly remote but needs to be in person (Mountain View, CA) on order fulfillment days)

This is a contract part-time position with an hourly pay.
